Since the age of 16, Emiliano Villa has been a journalist — starting as a newsroom intern at Youth Radio in Oakland and eventually joining KQED in San Francisco as a full-time radio and social producer for several programs.

At KQED, he served as a lead producer for The Field Trip Game, a YouTube series for teens and Youth Takeover,

Now based in New York City, Emiliano is expanding into fashion through modeling and styling, assisting in photo and video production.

KQED Youth Takeover

As Youth Media Producer, Emiliano led hundreds of Bay Area high schoolers through the editorial process of podcasting — from pitch to publication, meeting with them in their classrooms to workshop ideas to recording their final pieces in the studio.
